· Onion extract – we’ll be the first to admit that it doesn’t sound like the sexiest ingredient, but it is exceptional for promoting a soft, smooth feeling to your scarred skin. (It gives the formula a slightly odd smell, but trust us - it’s nothing compared to what your bundle of joy produces.)

How to use them together

After showering apply YUNG BOD C-Section Mama Cream to dry skin once a day, on old or new scars. Depending on your scar’s age, we recommend the using following massage techniques with the YUNG BOD C-Section Rock ‘n’ Roller to rejuvenate the look of your skin.

 New scars

Age: Approximately 12 weeks to 24 months

  • Gently move the smaller, amethyst end of the roller around your c-section site. Carefully move in up and down, back and forth directions, so you’ve covered the area in a cross-hatch.

  • When your wound is three months old, you can use the larger, ridged end of the roller on the site. Use your thumb and forefinger to stretch the skin in your c-section area, moving the roller in up and down, back and forth directions, so you’ve covered the area in a cross-hatch.

  • You only need to use light pressure if your scar is ore and up to five minutes of massage per day.

 Old scars

Age: Approximately 2 years onwards

  • This area can be sore and delicate, even if the scar is years old. However, you can massage the site straight away.

  • Gently move the smaller, amethyst end of the roller around your c-section site. Carefully move in up and down, back and forth directions, so you’ve covered the area in a cross-hatch.

  • Use your thumb and forefinger to stretch the skin in your c-section area, moving the larger, ridged end of the roller in up and down, back and forth directions, so you’ve covered the area in a cross-hatch.

  • You can massage for 10 to 15 minutes at a time, two to three times per week.

  • This cream can also be used on your tummy, toosh, and tatas to help smooth the look of your skin after you’ve powered through pregnancy.

  • Let the roller do the hard work for you – it’ll help massage the formula into your skin, and may assist with improving the appearance of your c-section skin.

  • For an extra cooling and calming effect, store your roller in the fridge.

  • You never know if you’ll get a baby who’s a sleeper or a screamer: it’s the same with our amethyst stones. They’re natural, so you can expect some variations in your unique stone.

  • We’re not here to tell you what to do, but like most things in life, don’t go too hard or too often with your roller.

  • Always patch test cream before use by applying to a small, inconspicuous area, like the inside of your wrist. Monitor the area for any adverse reactions for 24 hours before using as intended. Discontinue use if an allergic reaction occurs.

  • Do not refrigerate cream. Store in a cool, dry place.

  • Wash hands before using cream or roller. Do not use either on open wounds, broken skin, or infected skin.

  • To clean the roller, wipe both ends with a damp cloth. Never fully wet this tool.

  • Discontinue use and discard if the stone becomes broken, chipped, or has sharp edges.

  • If you have metal allergies (especially nickel), please consult a medical practitioner before using the roller.
